Due to the advancement of the Pro-Pipe HS, there was no doubt as to the performance advantages, but now also able to handle the extra heat of the higher compression import engines! Our engineers worked long and hard to come up with this new, revolutionary integrated design. They have designed the new Pro-Pipe HS with a "Blue Proof" collector that looks identical to our highly successful Harley line Pro-Pipe. The Pro-Pipe HS retains the aggressive look of the "hand made" race collector yet offers the protection from discoloration. I don't like 2 into 1 systems, but i was tired to drag my old cobra speedsters longs on every tight right turn. The sound is awesome, deeper than the usual drag pipes systems out there. Chrome quality is fair, no blueing after about 50k km, the baffle could be better built, but you can swap the metric version with a HD versione (billet). Mileage is slightly worse compared to my old Cobras. Performance is someway better.

I have an 04, 1700, and they worked on my bike. But I would advise everyone to check with a mechanic if you plan on putting them on anything later than 03. I may have gotten lucky.

My Pro-Pipe has the billet Harley baffle in it, making the sound a bit deeper. It is considerably lighter than the stock exhaust, the performance improvement after a rejet is impressive. Chrome quality is excellent. They are a bit loud, especially when I'm on it, but is reasonably mellow under steady cruise. EVERYBODY hears you coming, which is nice from a personal safety perspective.

Hardest part of installation was taking the stock exhaust off. After 3 yrs of riding chrome is still in Great shape, no blueing or rust spots. Sound is awesome, baffle is easy to extract and intstall to remove packing which gives a deeper tone but not ear wreching loud. This pipe makes a true Hot Rod sound and look for the bike.
