This is a very high quality product and has great sound (not too loud but makes the bike sound like it has a pair). These pipes also allow you to put bigger bags on your bike. The bike does vibrate a little more since adding thes pipes because they take the rubber mount out of the rear bracket and replace it with a hard mount. This pipe does have a couple of down falls. First does not follow the lines of the bike very well and you end up with a gap between the exhaust and the tank cover and exposes a not so good looking frame. Also it covers the fuse box and changing the fuse at night in the middle of no where can burn the fingers a few times.

Just put these on ( 1-08-06 ). The ones that I got are for the 04 LC as they do not make them for the 05 yet. The only difference is that the exhaust bolts on the 05 is shorter then the 04. I got stainless steal bolts that are a little more then a 1/2 inch longer then the oem bolts, and it fit perfect! Great chrome and has an awsome sound. A low rumble, kinda reminds you of a V8. Plenty of sound without being too loud!

Replaced the Cobra 2 into 1 Power Pro with this pipe. The superior quality was evident right out of the box. Once installed the low mellow throb of this pipe is exactaly what I was looking for. Unfortunately I live in western PA and it started to get cold and snow so I havent had much time running with it but I cant wait till spring! I would highly recomed this pipe.

I had dealer install Vance & Hines pro-pipe, rejet and K&N filter on a new 2003 Intruder 1500. Still breaking in the engine so I don't know complete performance benefit of this upgrade, however it appears this combination does provide noticeable HP and torque increase. However, the loudness of the pro-pipe on my intruder 1500 was unacceptable for me. I purchased a digital sound level meter from radio shack and measured the sound levels while riding the bike and found the sound from the pro-pipes exceeded the maximum measureable limit of 126db of the radio shack digital sound meter (the sound level was caused by the pipes, not from moving air because the meter was shielded from moving air). I use ear protection that gives at most 29db protection, thus, I cannot safely use these pipes without eventually incuring hearing loss. (Hearing loss occurs with sustained noise levels exceeding 85db). Incidentally, I could find no information on Vance & Hines website regarding decibel levels of th...

The low end power delivery is considerably improved, roll ons from as low as 35 mph in 5th gear are possible without pinging or bucking. The gas mileage has also picked up about 2.5mpg and the low throaty rumble is just what I was looking for. The real treat is when you snap the throttle open and the bike jumps instantlly, a very definite difference from the cobra straits I had before. I had to increase the main jets to 128s from the 126s that came with my dynojet kit but all other settings stayed the same. This is an awsome pipe that I would recommend to anyone wanting simple bolt on horsepower.......

I have the Propipe for the Yamaha Road Star Warrior and I love it. It's the Exhaust that should have come on the bike from the factory. It replaced the HUGU Vacuum cleaner that comes stock.

I had a set of 2 into 2 bub cones, but they just didn't do it for me. The Vance and Hines pro pipe is really first rate. Great deep sound, and beautiful fit and finish. Considerable increase in performance as well. I had to raise the carb needles one clip, these babies really flow. Could not be more satisfied.
