I have Vance and Hines Straight shots which are basically straight pipes the Baffle in them is insignificant. The Big Shot Baffles took longer to get the product out of the package and unwrap the tape from around the fiberglass than it did to install,Bike sounds a lot quieter,Can't road test yet as the streets are covered in snow and salt and sand.Further details in future

I recently added these to my V&H Long Shots and they fit perfectly, no modifications needed at all. And don't let the name fool you, they will not make the bike "quiet" by any means. At idle & lower RPMs it is just a bit softer/quieter, but not much. Just enough to take the edge off, but all the attitude is still there. I like the sound much better than the stock baffles.

Easy to install. Makes the engine a little quieter. Just enough that my wife doesn't complain too much anymore

They take the bite out of the sound of my Vance and Hines longshots. It is more of a low rumble sound. Just what I was looking for. Very easy to install

Just installed today. No ride time yet but sounds great. Still has that low rumble at idle and sounds great in the throttle. Installed in the V&H Straightshots in less than 10 minutes. "UPDATE" Been away for a while with the COLD weather. We enjoy the rumble these provide in the V&H "Straights". Didn't take too much of the sound away from bare pipes, which gave us knumb ears after 30 minutes.

Installed these in the Longshots. Sounds much better. Update: After an hour on the interstate I'm starting to see some discoloration on the front end of the top muffler. Drilled several holes in the baffle's end caps. Update: Blueing stopped but pipes are just too loud. Running down the intersate @ 85 mph gives you a steady 105 db. Idles@ about 82 db. Shifting through the gears it's easy to push the meter over 100 db. Wear earplugs!

I put them in my straight shots with out a problem, I was done and on the road in 20 minutes. Gave the exhaust a little deeper tone, and the sound dropped slightly not as much as the name would have you believe, but thats ok because it's the lower tone I was looking for anyway.

Look easy to install. I'll let you know in the spring!!! O.K. they are in and they work really well in my longshots!! They change the sound to more of a rumble than a "snap" sound. Virtually as loud but sound better.... 10 minutes to install including removing my tips and re-installing everything.

I ordered these because I was afraid of making my neighbors mad. Though they are not supposed to fit the longshots they only take a minute to install. They take the bite off of the pipes making them a little more mellow and throaty but they are still plenty loud. I thought the pipes sounded a little more like a rattle than a roar before but now they are perfect!

I pulled out the Harley baffles and installed the Quiet Baffles into my Longshots. The bike never sounded better. The baffles are almost as loud as the ones I took out but they do take out that tin sound. It took 4 months to get them due to back orders everywhere.

an answered prayer. i wrapped these slightly smaller diameter baffles in some fiberglass and shoved them in my long shots. the sound is soo sweet. not too loud on acceleration, a nice burble when cruising and a low, mellow tone when idling. thanks v&h!
