We'll I got the bug for a new ride...and not wanting to take on "payments" opted to ck out new chrome dress up & performance parts. I decided to make some changes to my bike! soooo ordered these pipes from CC and was BLOWN AWAY!! with the New Sound! Deep Throaty, way cool! & much better performance due to going from 2-1 OEM to these 2-2 drag pipes. Took about 1.5 hrs to install, pretty easy overall. Be sure to put the top pipe on 1st, then add bottom after or you'll not be able to secure your fittings. Also be sure to thouroughly clean the pipe's & heatshield's BEFORE Firing Up! to prevent you're fingerprints from being "cooked" into the chrome finish ;) didn't happen to me, but did to some riders I know & they were not happy campers... & this is "not" a warranty covered issue. Way Pleased with CC's Quik Ship,& Quality Parts... and "No Drama" the order was right the 1st time!! Like it ALWAYS IS! :) Way to GO! Cruiser Customizing (CC)

Installed these pipes today... the pipes are awsome! They have a nice deep throaty sound. They are loud at low speed, but not bad at all when running at 60. The bike seemed to be a little more responsive when trottling. I haven't jetted the carb yet... going to do that in the morning. CC shipped the pipes a lot faster than I expected. Got them in less than a week (Thanks CC). Also putting a K&N high flow air filter on the bike. I was thinking about trading for a bigger bike, but I may be keeping the bike for a few more years. Would suggest these pipes for anyone wanting a big bike sound. I made the mistake of installing the top pipe first and had to take it off to get the bottom pipe mounted. Put the bottom pipe on first and it will be a lot easier. Installation was pretty simple.
