(4 stars) reviewed on 09/28/12 byG Thorpe "Witness" Henning (witness6) from Austin, TX, United States, for a 2012 Black/Grey 1700 Vulcan Voyager wrote: Was told new muffler gaskets weren't required, which delayed installation 2 weeks when the gaskets turned out to be necessary and had to be ordered. First time I've installed new pipes, was easy even unto the steps that nominally require two folks and three hands to position the pipes when securing to the frame. Use of screw plates to secure brackets to frame was a minor inconvenience (the three hands part; 1 to hold plate, 1 to hold pipe, 1 to turn wrench). Other than that, very satisfied with appearance, cost and most of all, the SOUND! Took my ride in for electrical installation and 600-mile service that same day and mechanic noted the GREAT SOUND on the service report. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(5 stars) reviewed on 08/18/11 byMule (DomesticMule) from OKC, OK, United States, for a 2009 pearl beige/ wine 1700 Vulcan Nomad wrote: Awesome pipes! Super easy installation. The sound level went up quite a bit but not too much so as to be annoying. Now I know the neighboring cars can hear me in traffic. The stock pipes left me feeling somewhat vulnerable and these pipes solved that worry. Wise purchase! Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
(5 stars) reviewed on 04/28/11 byTony O'Keefe (Tonyokeefe) from Pottsville NSW Australia, , Australia, for a 2010 Vulcan Nomad 1700 Vulcan Nomad wrote: Excelent pipes, great sound and look real nice. One problem, the Aussie and Euro bikes have an 02 sensor, the US pipes don't have the option so had to make provision for it. Then with a Powercommander V took the bike for a DynoTune and discovered needed to fit an 02 eliminator, could have saved myself the hassles, anyway, very nice pipes, awesome sound. How a V Twin should sound. Ultimately easy to fit, great product. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
