Great add-on. I had to modify the ID to fit over my grips.Took a Dremel and ground it down.

This isn't as nice as the BreakAway, but it is about 20% the price. Easy to install and works as advertised. I don't know how I rode this long without a throttle lock of some type.

This is a must have for those long rides! Works great...and you can still increase or decrease the speed of your bike while it is still set in the cruise control mode.

Very glad I got this. Obviously, it won't adjust your speed for hills and such, but I can set it for a few minutes at a time and shake out the kinks on those Iron Butt rides. The directions make installation seem harder than it is. Just remember it is a universal kit so there will be parts left over. Determining which parts fit your bike it the hardest part of the install. After that it goes together easy.

Not great for holding speed - but gives enough relief on those long rides to make it very cost effective.

Just got this item today! (01-04-2011). I haven't installed it yet. I'm ordering the Kuryakyn ISO Grips. As soon as I install the grips then I'll install the cruise control and hopefully everything will work out. I'm back. installing the cruise control was as simple as can be. Heck, I let my girlfriend install it and she never worked on a motorcycle in her life! And she did a great job!!!

In the Look how easy it is video shown here on Cruizer Customizing they show installing the vista cruise on a bike with kuryakyn ISO grips but when they got to the part where the ring had to slide over the flange on the grip they edited out the part where they had to carry it to the machine shop and have .070"(Just over 1/16")bored out at least half way thru the inner Diameter. If you watch it you will see they go from bolting on the arm to now the ring is on..Fortunately I have a Lathe and with some extra time it turned out nicely,But what about people who dont have access to a machine shop Cruizer Customizing???????

I plan on ordering this soon, after seeing it installed and working effectively on another Vulcan 1600 w/Kuryakin ISO grips. But wanted to say for all of you who are complaining about the lacking installation instructions...since you're already on line to gripe, why not do a web search for installation instructions. I found several sites very good step-by-step details with good photos. And if you can't cut a simple piece of rubber with a pocket knife without cutting yourself, maybe you're too clumsy to even be on a bike!

Works well and simple to install. I had to move the mirror assembly up a little and trim the rubber insert to fit over my Iso-Grips, but other than that it was a simple install. Doesn't interfere with the controls or anything. Very basic tool.

I finally decided to add this after last summers 1700 mile trip. I have it on and have tested it and KNOW it will give my wrist a break on those long rides coming up this summer.

lets you rest your right wrist when it gets tingly. Also good for cruising when your on the freeway. Had it on my vulcan 1500 but transferred it to my 2008 nomad before trade-in.

I put 10,000+ miles on my bike last year and most of that was on the freeway. I couldn't have done it without my cruise control. I don't have to worry about cramps or mucle fatigue. Just set it and go! It is easy to install, and even easier to use. Even with the cruise control on you can adjust your speed without difficulty.
