This does not fit the Roadstar without modification. The crossbar doesn't fit over the switch housing. Also, you must go to the manufacturer to get a special spacer strip for the ISO handgrip. All in all, it seems to work.

cheap enough, easy install, not very attractive, but it works. A life saver on long hauls.

Inexpensive way to add a bit of wrist relief. Handy when you need your right hand momentarily without having to stop. Easy installation and use.

Mark (Oddball51) from Englewood, CO, United States, for a 2000 1600/1700 Road Star Silverado wrote:

Mine is the low end version of this device without the cross bar pictured on this one. It had to be machined to fit on the road star which consisted of grinding the nylon to increase the diameter of the opening. Once installed it works pretty well and is adjustable while set. This setup works better than the clever lever I had on before this and uses the same hole in the switch box to attach the brace which holds the unit in place. Unfortunately, it won't work with the iso grips so I had to change out the grips to a set which aren't as comfortable as the kurys.

Big and "clunky". Black crossover bar is ugly. Works good though. Will replace with a "Clever Lever"
