be careful... you must roll throttle forward when braking, as the cruise will still hold the throttle back...

I had one of these on my 94 Vulcan and also on my 06 VTX 1300. I love how it lets me let go of the throttle so i can give my hand a break and still keep going.

Installed in 30 minutes. I bought this to reduce the numbing in my thumb and first two fingers on my throttle hand, and it definitely helped. Had to manually trim the insert to fit my Kuryakyn Iso Grips. Found out later that they will send you an insert made especially for the Iso grips for free.

You can't beat this for the money. Works great - only downside is that it doesn't automatically switch off when you press the brake but I'd gladly deal with that considering the price

I have it set to slowly ease off the throttle just so I don't forget I have it on. Very helpful if you need to flex your grip to relax your wrist, etc., or if you need to adjust your clothes, glove on other hand, etc. Would not ride long with any cruise control as too easy to loose track of speed in corners, traffic, etc.

I agree whole heartedly on the instructions. Nothing on the carton about after market grips either. As far as aftermarket grips.. it would not fit the ring on the kuryakin iso grips i have on my 04 vtx 1300c. I was able to file the inside of the mounting ring to a larger size and got it to work.. Does work fine, but remember it's not a cruise control.. the bike will slow down going uphill and speed up going down.

Works well. Had some problems getting the internal ring positioned in the locking part, but a fairly easy install. Owners of the 06 VTX 1300 C, be careful of the wiring harness coming from the underside of the switch block, it will cause you some grief. The bar that crosses the switch block could be 1/4" longer for a cleaner look. I would like to see same model in chrome. Overall a cheap alternative to the BreakAway model, but if you have the $180 for the BreakAway get it instead, it is chrome and will look better with all the chrome on the 1300C.

It will NOT fit on a '04 VTX 1300c. If you own a VTX check the wiring that leads into the switch assembly. The bracket must be able to fit FLUSH against the left side of the switch assembly, but my wiring enters the switch assembly far too close to the handlebar for me to mount the Cruise Control bracket. You need a good 1/4 inch space between the wiring and your handlebar. Directions for installation are a bit obscure . . . I have seen it installed on a '08 M50 and a '07 Vstar 1100c.

It looks Cheep, But what do you expect for $30? It works and was not too difficult to install. Soap your grip and it slips right on.
