Very tight fit given the space available on the VT 1300, but if you loosen off the brake and throttle units, it will squeeze in. Took a fair bit of shaving to fit the rubber gasket over the fat grips, but after that, it mounts nicely. Working a advertised so far.

would not call this a cruise control, but what it is a throttle lock,it works ok, to give your right hand a break, but it does not hold speed steady for any anount of time,

Not too bad of a product, but I did have to sand down part of the plastic that wraps over the ignition switch panel because it was too thick to tighten down without modification.

a bit ugly, but only if you compare it to the chrome ones. It's a throttle lock, so unless the ground is very even where you are riding, I wouldn't call it cruise control. I don't use this for long stretches of time, but for the occasional taking the hand off the throttle to get some blood flow in the right arm and hand, it's great.

I have one on my Honda Sabre, had to modify it to fit by grinding some of the interior ring away. Ordered one for my VTX, same problem. This time on the package it actually says to contact the company if you want to install with Kuryakan grips for a special filler strip. Attempted to contact by e-mail and phone with no success. Since Kuryakan is the most popular after market grip you would think that this would be addressed or at least CC would make note of it in it's product description. Still waiting..............in Texas.

I just put it on yesterday, so far I need to adjust the rubber spacer on the hand grip so it holds better. I'll update when I have more data.

This is great accessory for my bike, however its made of plenty of plastic and I am worried how long it will last. Otherwise I am happy with it and the price.

This is a good product and installed rather easy! You must put this together as you install it, but as I said this was no big deal one way or another. When I looked at this finished on my bike, it just looked "CHEAP." For this reason, only, I took it off and purchase another cruise control. I'm waiting for it to come in now. I say - Don't Buy It!

Wouldn't suggest using this for long periods of time, but it is nice to be able to set it for a minute or two to give my right hand a chance to rest every once in a while. Came in handy on our cross-country motorcycle trip!

I have installed this on my bike a few years ago. Works very well but constantly have to adjust to keep speed defiantly cannot keep hand off of throttle for a long period of time without loosing speed. Mainly just use when needing to make an adjustment with jacket or something and left hand wont cut it.

This does not fit the Roadstar without modification. The crossbar doesn't fit over the switch housing. Also, you must go to the manufacturer to get a special spacer strip for the ISO handgrip. All in all, it seems to work.

Works okay. You will have to work with it each trip to keep it adjusted so that it will hold your throttle in place. It will slip!
