Ever had a day so beautiful that you figure a quick bit of VTX 1800 bike upkeep and then out for a ride, don't want to waste the beautiful sping-like day.  A quick coolant change and out I go....  Haven't changed it in 9 years (ouch), figured it was time.  Hey its March, this should be easy.  Honda decided to have the radiator filler cap under the gas tank.  Ok, shouldn't be that bad.  Honda decided to list the incorrect bolt on the water pump as the drain bolt.  And I decided to follow directions for once.  Gas tank was full for the winter, propped up the tank and the overflow drained gas onto the driveway, ran to get the cat litter, tank keeps sliding off the prop up and almost crashing.  Finally get the correct, hard to get at, drian bolt off, antifreeze goes all over my tools.  My fault and stupidity, gas tank nearly falls again....  Have the bike kick stand proped up to keep the bike as upright as possible with just a little lean.  Moved the ever shifting gas tank out of the way to get a funnel on the fill cap, had to move the handlebars to the right to get the funnel just right.  Noticed the funnel slightly moving, OMG the bike is about to tip, grabbed it, dropping the funnel and anitfreeze.  Thank God I wasn't changing the brake fluid! Ran the water hose through the garage to wash down the partially disassembled bike to get the anitfreeze off while the bike was running to bleed out the radiator.  When I finsihed up with the bike, rolled it back into the garage to find the foor all wet.  Seems the hose had spung a major leak and had a stream running through the garage.  Just great!  Could have been worse, just a few nicks in the tank. I think tomorrow I'll recheck all of my bolts and fittings....
