I am 6'3" tall and the stock bars were just too low. These bars are of top notch quality, they feel very solid and the chrome is beautiful. I also immediately noticed a definitive difference in metal thickness over stock. Installing the handlebars in the risers was very simple. Now ... The reason I rated the install as moderately easy was that it was more time consuming than complicated. Most of the control wires have to be extended (I did 12" and ran them inside the bars). The TBW (Throttle by Wire) wiring had enough slack and did not require extending. The installation of new front brake lines and clutch cable is also required. You can have these installed by a dealer, but you better hit up the money tree first. Labor estimates ranged from $350 - $500, but anyone with good mechanical prowess can do it.
