I had the 12.5 in. apes with 4.5 in. risers but it didn't look right so I bought the 18 in. apes and went back to the stock risers and now I'm comfortable and satisfied. If anyones thinking about putting on apes, you might as well go all the way up. +8 on the clutch cable and +6 on all other cables. Internally wired. Find a good electrician to do the wiring/splicing and shrink wrapping as you cant unsoder Harleys 2006 switches and resoder them back on. You have to splice wiring for switches to be extended.
