(4 stars) reviewed on 01/06/03 bySinky (Sinky) from Portmahomack, Scotland, , Americas, for a 650 V-Star Custom wrote: I bought a set of these bags just over a year ago. So far I have done about 10000 miles with them (in cold and wet Scotland) and so far they have lasted really well. They are well made and easy to install however I have altered mine so that they do not go over the rear mudguard or seat (the joining flap of the bags are folded back down over a tubular sissy bar/grab rail and fixed into the rear of the bag with a bracket I made myself which makes removal and fitting a five second job. These bags also seem to fit perfectly with the standard Yamaha support rails. The bags would be better if they had a little better weatherproofing. I think the bags are more expensive in Great Britain than the U.S. (£85.00 or $130.00) Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
