I chose these because the flow with the lines of the bike nicely. First thing I did was take off the cheesy conch. Then I modified them so I can lock them. It'd be easy enough for a theif to slice open the bags, but I've found that having locks on the bags prevents "curious" people from looking inside.

I bought some mounts for these bags and had them on for awhile. Wasn't really crazy about the look though. They seemed kind of small and out of place on the bike. I took them off. But while I was using them, I really had no problems. You could fit lots of gear in them and they seemed quite durable. I just wasn't crazy about the look.

Huge bags. They hold a lot, but have started to droop a little. They also get moisture in them from overnight humidity and the buckles have started to rust a little. Probably would buy something different if I had the loot. Wanted to update to say that since using a cover, the bags have started to mildew, definitely going to have to get new bags.

Im not big on saddlebags unless they are hardcased, but I needed something. I have to agree with the one review about the moisture problem. I park mine in the garage and will leave them opened up to air them out. Otherwise, if you want no frills saddlebags, these will do.

There're nice, but in the future I'll want bags without double straps.. they get annoying when you need frequent access.

Good bags, only use them for long trips. I did need saddle bag supports to keep them from rubbing the spokes.

These bags are very nice and look great on the bike! I have mounted them to a set of Easy Brackets so that I can take them off the bike and keep them inside at the end of the day. Due to the Easy Brackets I had to add additional plastic to the inside to maintain rigidity. I have ridden with them in the rain and have had no problems. Everything inside was perfectly dry, and when I got home just dried them off with a towel.

Great bags for the money. Look like leather, easy to clean. Not quite stiff enough, but that can be fixed. I opted to fabricate my own mounts so that the bags sit stiffer and don't rub anything.

These are excellent bags. They will hold a lot of gear and are not too obtrusive. The only thing that I feel could be improved upon is the rear loop to attatch the bags to your supports. It is at the rear edge of the bags, and on my bike, the cable ties must be pulling forward on the bag, where they should pull straight or aft. Still, I would recomend them to anyone wanting soft bags. The size and shape is nearly ideal for the Ace. You will notice that I said I wouldn't buy this product again. That is because while these bags do everything they are supposed to do very well, I would buy hard bags next time. These bags certainly aren't difficult to open and close, but it does take a moment. It seems that every time I pack, I end up openning and closing the bags several times before I finally get everything loaded. So, next time, I'll probably spend the extra cash for the Leatherlyke bags.

Nice bags. Good quality and fit for the price. Large enough for most day trips, but started sagging after a few months.
