Great bags... especially for the price I paid.. 2nd hand from a sabre riders group guy. I wish they were a little more sturdy for mounting on my quick release system.

These are really good bags for the money you pay. They're reinforced with this internal corrogated plastic liner stuff to hold their shape, and man, they do look really good on the Sabre. The bike just pops out now with these added. One thing I was not impressed with, is the tie-down mechanism. There are two tie-down loops on each bag, at the front side and back side, but they are located near the TOP of the bag, so when you tie them to your saddlebag supports, it does virtually NOTHING to keep these bags from flapping around. Easy fix, I found some nylon strap, cut two 2" sections, and using a staplegun and good ol' 'Murcan backyard injuneering, made new tie-down loops that are located at the very bottom of each bag, and now the bags are tied down at the bottom of the support brackets. Problem solved, they aren't going anywhere. But - bike products made for bikers by bikers (Willie & Max's sales image) shoulda had that to begin with, don't ya think? Full story at: http://foru...
