Come to find out, once i put them on my bike, they're the perfect size. They look great. I was a little surprised at how little i could fit in them, but i suppose that's the sacrifice for them not being huge. I didn't use an support bracket, and everything has worked fine so far. The synthetic leather seems very durable and might even be better at handling wet weather than real leather would.
