These are easy to put on and take off, and they work well. They were cheap, they cover your whole boot. As other reviewers have noted, these things have a very strong odor when new. I hung them up in the garage and let them air out for like 3 weeks, and now they only smell bad if you get your nose right up close to them. The odor is a very strong rubber smell, mixed with some other odor I cannot identify. Definitely air them out -- you wouldn't want everything else in your saddlebag to have the same smell. I've seen gators for a lot more other places, and they don't cover your whole boot, just down to the top of your boot. I wanted something that covered my whole boot, because my riding boots are not waterproof. The soles appear like they will wear OK, but of course I won't really know that until I have worn them a lot. UPDATE: have worn them several times in the rain, and they work great. They still smell though. Fortunately the smell does not appear to have infected o...

Decided it was time to keep the feet dry on those wet rides. Nice product, constructed well.

Just got these in today and quite impressed with the quality. I wear a size 10 boot and bought the XL size booties. These things are the cat's meow for keeping your feet dry and not look silly with grocery bags on your feet. (A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do to stay dry!). I am not sure if the Large size would have been a better fit but to me it's better slightly larger than slightly smaller. Boot goes in and out quite easily. No fuss no muss. The zipper is velcro enclosed, with a top velcro strap to ensure it doesn't slide down while you ride. You wouldn't want to go trekking over creation with these on but a test walk around the yard shows that they will hold up for normal use for a quite a while. The smell? Everyone mentions the smell and yes, there is a smell. Is it bad? Nah, it's strong when you open the bag but let the things air out a bit and there's no smell. It's not obnoxious what so ever. But it's a smell I'll be more than happy to put up with to keep my fee...
