Ugly, but LOUD!!
I ordered this Wolo air horn and installed it on my 2002 Vulcan Nomad 1500 FI, using the "factory horn button wiring kit." (CCC part number WOLO-MCWK-2, see separate review). The installation was relatively easy and I used a "left over" highway peg clamp to install the horn on the right side of the front "crash bar." The horn has a good tone and volume, but I found that it tends to vibrate and "buzz" when activated. I will be purchasing some better hardware to ensure that the mount is more firmly mounted on the bar. The only spot I could find for the horn relay was under the Mustang seat on the bike, and used a zip tie to mount it there. I'd give it "five stars" for function, but only three for esthetics.
